The Major Titley Service No.1 and No. 2 Kukri came about after a collaboration with Major Johnathan Titley (aka Titter's) and myself (Simon Hengle of Tora),in an attempt to get a better kukri made for the British Gurkhas than what they are currently issued with. Unfortunately, Major Titley passed away following a battle with his health before the kukri could be presented, but this kukri keeps Titter's legacy alive.
The Titley Service No. 2 kukri has a 31 cm blade length, with a high quality wooden handle and brass mounts. Weight range is 470-545g. The kukri comes with military scabbard including frog, and a superb 10cm bladed Karda but no chakmak making it a great kukri to have in the field.
50% of profits for this kukri will be donated to a charity that was close to Major Titley's heart.

Tora kukri are traditional handmade kukri, made in Nepal, and not the usual export and tourist kukri found on many other websites. Tora strives to make kukri to the traditional specifications as per the original models.

We strongly recommend that the wooden parts on all kukri are treated with the appropriate oil and wood treatment prior to use.
Please note that because all of our kukri are hand-made, variances in size, weight, wood colour, chakmak & karda style etc may well occur. You must be 18 yrs and over to purchase any knife or sword.
