Gary Z.Tora blades HAVILDAR

The best Tora Blade (But still only the first I have bought!)

This piece of art is an example of what is great about the artisans skill! It is relatively light, with beautiful lines, but is exceptionally balanced. It doesn't feel like it would be a burden to carry and the weight distribution feels as if the whole unit is designed for it's purpose! It has a natural fall due to it's exceptional lines, and I think this would take the place of any tomahawk, making it an essential outdoors piece which would also, no doubt, strike up conversations and interest in Khukuris every where it is revealed!Steve ODell (Dec 18 2018, 08:48 AM)
Where craft meets art.

I just received my Havildar kukri. I had previous bought an Ex-Gurka and returned it because of weight and finishing. The Tora Havildar is absolutely beautiful, solid, light well balanced. When holding it, it just wants to chop something. Worth every penny. The EX-Gurka felt like a brick, and the thought of using it for an extended period made my arm ache. The Tora blade is a work of the art and function. The hollow grind, the edge, the spine and the polish is superb. Weight is an important issue. To make something strong and light and functional is where craft meets art. Thinking about getting another. Robert Hayward (Sep 24 2017, 20:46 PM)
Havildar kukri

Well made and nicely balanced Kukri.

This knife is a joy to hold in the hand. It is exquisitely balanced and well made. The heat treating on the metal is very good and the blade takes and holds an edge very well. I highly recommend this knife for up to medium duty work around the camp and for self defense.Joseph McCammond (Aug 07 2014, 00:45 AM)
