A beautifully made traditional kukri. Tora's Goorkhali Angkhola clearly displays a nice wide fuller (Angkhola) and is the type of Kukri used by the Goorkha's of Nepal in the Anglo-Nepali war and representative of some of the Kukri in the National Museum of Nepal. The rough weight guidance on this kukri is 500-575g.

Blade length is 35 cm, belly depth 5.5 cm with partial tang wooden handle and this blade is supplied with chakmak and karda utility knives which have 8.5cm long blades. This Kukri comes with a scabbard and a tinder pouch but no frogs as it is designed to be worn in the sash. Please note that the chakmak and karda are now of the same style as the military kukri, and the tinder pouch no longer comes with the insert

Tora kukri are traditional handmade kukri, made in Nepal, and not the usual export and tourist kukri found on many other websites. Tora strives to make kukri to the traditional specifications as per the original models.

For an easy way to sharpen your kukri please watch this video.

We strongly recommend that the wooden parts on all kukri are treated with the appropriate oil and wood treatment prior to use.

Please note that because all of our kukri are hand-made, variances in size, weight, wood colour, chakmak & karda style etc may well occur. You must be 18 yrs and over to purchase any knife or sword.

Please note that the kukri are now sent directly from Nepal.

Wow!

This blade rates right up there at the top of my most beautiful blades. This thing is amazing. Beautiful fit and finish with only one little hammer mark that in my opinion gives her a hell of a lot of character. Wonderful piece Simon. Hmmm.... I think I should maybe get a Sirupati next.Anthony Tidwell (Sep 06 2021, 13:04 PM)

Stunningly beautiful blade

I waited six months for this blade and believe me it is well worth the wait.It is light and well balanced with a sharp and beautifully polished blade, the handle is smooth and very comfortable. The karda and chakmak as well as the scabbard are also of high quality.Tora’s kami,KTM,is absolutely a master craftsman who can be proud to have made such a fine Kukri. If you’re thinking these Kukri are expensive with a long wait before arrival be assured you will not regret your decision to buy one.Stephen Herbert (Nov 20 2019, 21:51 PM)

Buy one. Wait patiently. You'll thank yourself.

Absolutely stunning blade. If you want a legitimately functional kukri that's pleasing to the eye in addition to being a dream to use, buy one. The handle is marvelously comfortable and the blade split hairs out of the box. Irrefutably worthy of 5 stars.Anthony (Jun 09 2017, 23:53 PM)
